The Results of Our Family Recording Session – John 14:2-3

Our family loves to sing together, and last week we recorded a Fighter Verse Song  we’ve been working on.  (I am SO HAPPY we now have a tenor in our family; we have a choir!)

It’s going to be tweaked a little more (mostly to hear the kids more than me), but it had to go online today because it’s our church’s verse this week.  Scott joins us the second time through.  THANK YOU to everyone who helped us with this!

Here is John 14:2-3…

Teaching Songs to Children

If you’d like to do more SINGING in your FAMILY, but aren’t sure how to go about it, check out THIS LINK to find out how my husband (with no music degree) teaches songs to his Kindergarten/First Grade class at church.

This is also how he teaches the Fighter Verse songs to our kids at home, and we now know hundreds of Scripture verses that have been put into song.  And if anyone says that having to sing them isn’t good enough, I would ask them if they could recite 400-500 verses on the spot.  My kids can, by singing the songs!  (Now, LISTENING to the WORDS you’re singing–that’s the next step, and should not be neglected.)

A little adverstisement:  You can purchase CD’s of family-friendlyFighter Verse songs HERE and scroll down to the bottom section of the page.

Hallelujah Chorus – sung by ONE FAMILY!

And we’re going to join them!  This is my sister’s family, and our family is going to learn this too, (as soon as I find the music)!  Anybody want to join us?  This just shows that choirs do not have be made up of just one, small age group.  (My brother-in-law apologizes for the black socks.)  Way to go, Krauses!  You are an inspiration!
